On October 1, 2013 the 2013-2014 NHL season will kick off with three games featuring the:
- Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens
- Washington Capitals vs. Chicago Blackhawks
- Winnipeg Jets vs. Edmonton Oilers
and I’m not going to lie… I’m really exited for hockey this year!
As we all know, last year’s NHL season got off to a whimper in January after a long strike steaming from a dispute between the NHLPA and the owners.
Although last year’s shortened season was better than nothing, I just didn’t get my fill of hockey that I need to get every year!
Now, I risk taking a lot of ridicule by saying this, but I’m a Calgary Flames fan.
Jarome Iginla, the heart and soul of our team, left us last year for greener pastures to play with Crosby and Malkin and is suiting up with the Boston Bruins this year.
Although Iggy is still deeply missed here in Calgary, there is also a sense a rejuvenation and hope that comes along with a young roster full of hungry guys looking to make their mark and become everyday NHL players.
Beyond being a Flames fan I’m really just a huge fan of hockey. I enjoy watching great hockey being played by passions players who want to win.
If you love watching hockey on your terms, meaning you can stream any game live from anywhere then keep reading.
The best way to catch as many games as possible, no matter where you live, is by subscribing to NHL GameCenter Live.
How To Watch As Much Hockey As You Want
With NHL GameCenter Live you can watch up to 40 games per week (PER WEEK!) because you will be able to stream all the NHL games online.
You might notice that NHL GameCenter mentions that local-market games are blacked out.
Don’t worry about that, there is a NHL GameCenter blackout workaround that you can follow that will show you how to get around it. (Hint: it involves a little piece of software called HMA.)
Once you know how to circumvent the blackout restriction you can literally watch every single game all year long. How sweet is that?!?
