If you’re not fortunate enough to be in New York City for the 2014 US Open don’t worry because I’m about to show you how to watch the 2014 US Open outside of the USA.
The US Open is the last tennis grand slam of the year and the atmosphere at the open is always electric and this year with Federer, Milos Raonic, Murray, Djokovic and Genie Bouchard playing some incredible tennis this year should not disappoint.
If you’ve ever tried to watch the live stream of US Open from Canada (or anywhere else that is not the USA) you surely were disappointed to see that you were not able to due to your geographical location.
There is one very simple trick that you can use that will allow you to virtually reside in the United States which makes streaming the US Open live on the Internet possible for anyone outside of the US.
The Simple Trick To Watch Live US Open Tennis
The first thing that you will need is a solid Pro VPN. The technical side of a VPN (Virtual Private Network) is actually quite simple yet very effective (isn’t this true of most things in life?)
When you connect to a Pro VPN your Internet connection is packed up in a secure pipeline and is then routed their a server in the United States.
By doing this, it will appear that you and your computer are sitting in the US and you will be able to watch live 2014 US Open outside of the USA.
Setting Up Your Pro VPN
Once you have signed up for your Pro VPN account you will want to download it to your computer. After logging into your account you will see the download link, go ahead and click that.
Once you have downloaded and installed HMA Pro VPN on your computer you will want to go ahead and pick a US server from the long list of the 197 servers that HMA has in the USA. When it comes to VPNs, trust me, bigger is better!
It’s best to pick one of the closest server locations to you based on the distance between you and the server.
For example, if you live in Toronto you will want to choose one of the HMA servers in Illinois or New Jersey rather than the servers down in Texas or California. Don’t worry, HMA has servers spread out all over the USA so there will be one close to you.
Steam Live 2014 US Open Online Outside of the US
Now the fun part! Since you and your computer are now virtually residing in the USA (thanks to HMA) you will now be able to navigate over to the US Open website and watch all of the live US Open tennis you can handle in 2014 and beyond.
But that’s Not All
Don’t forget about all of the other site that you will also be able to access now that you know how to have your computer virtually reside in the US of A. Amazing sites like Hulu, Pandora, Spotify, NHL, MLB and even the highly coveted US Netflix library that is rumored to be as much as 10 times bigger than the Netflix library up here in Canada.
I’ve been personally using HMA for more than 2 years now and, trust me, it’s worth ever red cent and then some.
If you have found this guide on how to watch live 2014 US Open outside of the USA please it with your friends. Go Federer! Leave a comment below for who you want to win the 2014 US Open.

King Federer is going to win the US Open. It’ll be the only one he wins this year. Might be one of his last too.

I’m a huge Federer fan too. I hope he can win a couple more but Nadal, Muarry and the Djoker are playing some amazing tennis these days… We shall see!

Hi, I found your website by looking for Amazon Prime streaming. We are on vacation just now on Maui. We have been watching Netflix here, but could not access the Canadian Netflix to watch the Good Wife. If I sign up for a Pro VPN ( we shared the frustration of not being able to watch the US Open Tennis), is it easy to switch back and forth between the US based address and our Alberta address? Would Pro VPN work to watch the Australian Open or Wimbledon?
Brent says
Yes, you can turn VPN on and off with a click of your mouse. HMA has the largest network with servers in 128 countries and access to 96,406 (and counting) IP addresses. If you want to access a show only available on Netflix Canada, then turn it off. If you want to access a show on Netflix USA, turn it on. As for the other tennis grand slams, I’m not sure if they offer the streaming like the US Open but will be checking for sure in 2015! Thanks for your comment and let me know if you need more help.
