Streaming TV shows and movies over the Internet has been around for quite some time now and has become widely adopted by the masses.
The popularity of watching live sports on the other has lagged more traditional content because there has always been the difficulty to stream the programs live over the Internet.
In recent years the popularity of the online streaming options for the major sports like NHL GameCenter MLB.tv has picked up but there is still one major problem with these services. They blackout the local market games during the live telecast.
If you ask me I’d say, “If it’s not live, it’s not sport”.
For me anyway, I don’t really enjoy watching a sporting event when I already know who won.
In the good old days you could pop in the extra long VHS tape and record your sporting event and then come home to watch it later in the day without knowing who won.
But these days, with the bombardment of social media, text messages, cell phone, etc. it’s virtually impossible to not see or overhear who won before you get back to your DVR to watch the event.
So, what’s a modern day Toronto Blue Jays fan to do?
Go Jays Go!
